A short video teaser for Dace's Spring Summer '10 collection - which promises lots of clean and classic lines that we've come to love and expect from the West Coast designer.

The shoe of the moment (for me) is the wedge bootie. I've already raved about the Mini Market Zipper Wedge, the Jeffrey Campbell Peep Toe Bootie and the heavenly Acne Atacoma Wedges. Two other favourites to add to the list are the Tristan Blair Leiza Wedge (pictured above) and the Opening Ceremony Bow Front Wedge (pictures below), also available here.
In the past year, Need Supply Co. has become one of the stores I check on a regular basis. Nylon magazine voted it amongst the best denim stores in the world. And lately they've been introducing a line-up of some of my favourite designers. This season: Mary Meyers, Something Else, Seneca Rising and Rodebjer.
I like that they mix in a healthy selection of lower-priced items, and a perfectly edited range of shoes each season. If you haven't already, bookmark this store now. It only promises to get better with each passing season.

It should come as no surprise that Samatha Pleet, who names film making as one of her loves, presents her Spring Summer '10 collection in a beautiful, dream-like short film.

I've been silently stalking these shoes since they were first released, checking the website more than necessary. I've walked past the Acne store in Berlin on numerous occasions, hoping to get a glimpse of these beauties in person. No luck - until this weekend when I stumbled across the Acne store in Amsterdam.
I resisted the (very strong) urge to try them on, knowing that I'd somehow find a way to justify a 350 Euro shoe purchase as soon as I slipped my feet into them.
