Too Close for Comfort? Jeffrey Campbell does minimarket
My love for Jeffrey Campbell has faded this season after too many close "interpretations" of current IT shoes - from the Ashish Wedges to Acne's Atacomas and Opening Ceremony's Buckle Boot. The latest copy cat - a suede version of minimarket Zipper Boots. I've been lusting after the sold-out minimarket Zipper boots for ages, and I have to admit with a slightly bulkier shape (and a price tag about half the size), I actually prefer the Jeffrey Campbell (Pixie) version. I just don't know how I feel about buying into something that so blatantly resembles another designer's work.

The always inspiring complexgeometries is introducing a series of collaborations as part of their SS'10 collection. The first of these is with Osie-Duro, a label working with women's co-ops in Ghana.
