MariaFrancescaPepe Bio:
Maria Francesca Pepe was born in Foggia, Italy. She studied Literature and Philosophy before completing her Fashion Design BA. After graduating with the maximum grades and showing her first collection during Milano Fashion Week 2003, she then relocated to London to complete the Masters in Fashion Womenswear at Central Saint Martins. Maria’s AW’ 07/08 Womenswear Collection was shown at the Central Saint Martins MA's show, and immediately received wide praise from UK and International leading Press including Vogue Italia, Elle, I-D, Dazed&Confused, Harpers Bazaar and many more.

In the meantime she conceives and starts to build up her own company “MFP- MariaFrancescaPepe”, focusing on a new concept called “Jewelry-Wear”. The boundaries between clothing and accessories are faded and they become functional one to the other. The concept of MariaFrancescaPepe is based on the possibility to evolve from the accessory to the clothing, from the pure design to the functionality and vice versa. All MFPepe creations merge the link between the ornament and the wearability. The Italian handcraft tradition is fused to a contemporary and avant-garde sense of fashion. MFPepe is discovering and creating at the same time.
