Since the labels inception in 2003 Lonely Hearts have built their reputation on a look that is imaginative, chic, distinct and, above all else, wearable. Designers and unashamed 80’s kids, Helene Morris & Aimee Macfarlane, are pop-culture junkies whose pre-occupation with fashion as teens in “small-town NZ” made them seem like rebellious outsiders to their peers. These days their obsessions can be found in designs that are celebrated for their eclectic mix of ideas and concepts and fresh take on the intellectual ‘New Zealand look’. With devotees from NZ to Japan, Australia to Dubai, Lonely Hearts continue with each season to build upon their cult fan-base.
