Anuschka Hoevener Bio: Anuschka Hoevener is a fashion designer living and working in Berlin.
After finishing her liberal-arts studies, Anuschka Hoevener’s first move into the fashion world led her to London where she worked for an old-fashioned pattern-making company in the district of Shoreditch. During this time, she developed her own designs and applied to the fashion department at Burg Giebichenstein University in the former East German city of Halle where she was accepted for the masters programme. After being awarded her diploma with distinction in 2000, Anuschka Hoevener moved to New York where she worked as an assistant for designers Cynthia Rowley and Tess Giberson. She returned to Berlin and opened her own studio/showroom in 2004. Since 2006 she develops two collections per year. Her designs are available in Tokyo, San Francisco, New York, Moscow, Vienna, Marseille and several shops in Germany.
