Alder believes a garment should not only be aesthetically interesting, but should also have a quality, craftsmanship and an attention to detail that their customer will appreciate. They design what they themselves would like to wear, which leads to designs that are both minimal and essential, but still playful. No matter what, they are always a little unexpected.

Alder strive to be as sustainable as possible, and to make informed decisions about their materials. They acknowledge and operate under the fact that sometimes it is more sustainable to use a man-made fiber sourced locally, than an organic fiber flown across the world. Every piece they create is about the details, even the ones that only the customer will see.
