In a quest to find a blue tartan dress for New Year's Eve, I was reminded of Montreal based label, BodyBag. In Paper-Doll's boutique days, Bodybag was always part of the roster, and their signature pieces favourites amongst our customers. Designer Judith Desjardins' Fall '08 collection is as perfect as ever, a beautifully feminine collection with hints of menswear influence. And, lucky for me - a great steel grey/blue tartan fabric is used across quite a few styles.

The discovery has reminded me that I actually already own a blue tartan dress by Bodybag from seasons past. In the spirit of the recession, I should probably uncover that from my closet, rather than buy a new piece...
