Artist Spotlight: Tytania Rose
Posted on Sep 07 2008

A couple of months ago I crossed paths with an incredibly talented artist, designer and social entrepreneur - Tytania Rose. A former Parsons and F.I.T. student, Tytania designs a modern and functional accessory line that is attracting the attention of many stylish women (including the lovely Dita von Teese).
I love the John Blaine bag (pictured above) and the Pamela Airport Bag.

Tytania recently launched the "Nang Fah Project", a sustainable business model that aims to empower South Asian women who have been exploited through sex-slavery and prostitution. The Nang Fah Project will provide a rehab center and a boutique factory for the women to train, heal and live securely, while creating eco-friendly fashion bags. The Nang Fah Project model is amazing, and very close to my heart. I wish Tytania all the best in her endeavors, and hope our paths cross often in the future.
