Two as One: Snoflake SS'10
Posted on May 21 2010

I've been following
Snoflake for many years and while I've always been a fan of this Canadian designer, their Spring Summer '10 collection is undoubtedly my favourite to date. There are so many styles, including the
Monte Carlo Pants and
Sabrna Blazer that I could happily incorporate into my wardrobe.
I really love how the lookbook was styled, and how it perfectly reflects the duality of the collection. Designer Debbie Sutton has a knack for designing very pretty, very classic pieces along side more contemporary, edgy styles. Her model casting really captures those two distinct but complimentary aesthetic.
Model casting and styling isn't as easy as it looks, and it can often make or break the success of a designer's collection. I've seen it happen so many times over the years working in fashion. Snoflake's lookbook should be an example to young designers on how to perfectly represent you collection!
