Drop Your Trousers
Posted on Aug 27 2008

These will probably be showing up on all "Fashion Don't" lists - but I love the dropped crotch trouser that we're seeing a lot of for Fall/Winter 2008.

Hammer pants are back! They were ridiculous then and they're ridiculous now!
I don't think ridiculous begins to describe it!
The outfits in the pic look great.... it's amazing what a creative stylists can do!
Like what Susanna said...the look is salvaged with a creative stylist. Maybe handy as maternal pants ;-)
That looks disgusting, at least to me... meh, different strokes for different folks I guess.
I have to admit - this seems like a style that isn't translatable into real life. However! I saw a woman wearing a pair of dropped crotch pants at an airport in Cape Town this summer, and she looked amazing. I totally did a double take - she looked that great in them. And, even more good news - she had a very "average" body type, so i really don't think only tall skinny models can pull this off.
wow I'm speechless. It looks like diapers.
EWW. Yes. It does look worse than diapers.
I'm always excited about fashion but this, as mentioned before, is ridiculous. The only times trousers should look like that are on April Fools' Day, Halloween or when you've defected on yourself.
i'm pretty open to new ideas, but when i saw those i thought "adult diaper." gross.
These are amazing! I love them. Confidence and sense of true fashion forward style a must : )
i think the look is beautiful. i, am one for the lounged/slouchy look, anything with drape or layers fancies me. Anyone who believes otherwise obviously can't pull the look off, maybe child bearing hips-who knows! but all I know is I can pull it off, and they feel great!
I COMPLETELY LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!
