Vancouver based photographer Jody Rogac’s shooting style is the antithesis of what is popular in urban fashion photography these days. Her work is clean, airy and soft. No harsh flash, obnoxious posing, gritty surroundings and clothes that are “so bad they’re good”. Shooting mostly with natural light and very often outdoors, her work has an air of serenity around it that is so refreshing. Jody obtained her BFA in photography from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2006. Since then, she has been shooting professionally—some of her recent clients include Rolling Stone and Monocle magazine.
In 2007 Jody was one of 50 photographers selected from thousands of applicants to become a member of Young Photographers United. She loves her dog Jonathan, and to travel the world taking photographs.
