Customizing women’s shoes…Remarkably, Parisian artist Matthieu Missiaen stumbled upon the idea by chance when he first moved to Toronto to brush up on his English skills. Hired to paint the outside of an indie boutique, the owner asked Missiaen to revamp a few pairs of women’s heels on the side. When those few pairs of heels sold in record time, Missiaen knew he was onto something…and Ndeur was born.

Fast forward a couple of years and Missiaen is selling his wearable art all around the globe. And if his customized heels weren’t treat enough – Missiaen is now also painting canvas Sneakers.

The formula: visit Ndeur’s Etsy store, choose a design, send in your heels or sneakers, et voila – a totally customized pair of shoes that are guaranteed to rock your world.

Now to decide: sneakers or heels?????

Woah! Crazylicious. Though I don't know if I feel comfortable sending in my kicks, but what a wicked idea. And some of these look amazing. Particularly the female ones...
Why? This is a legit company - he's been doing it for years. Its a bit pricey (I think about $200 for the painting + the cost of the shoes) - but worth it for something that is almost one of a kind!

PS. Any of the designs you see on the heels, you can get painted onto sneakers.
Oh, I don't doubt their reputation by any means, I'm simply hesitant to send off my lovely sneaks and not be able to wear them. This is the point where many of you laugh at me for only having a couple of shoes to my name. :) Perhaps I should use this as inspiration to stock up? :3

In the first pic with the women's shoes I like #3, 4 and 5. Top marks. Total future vibe. Teh hotness.
This is totally genuine, I love those paintings. I'm not sure if $200 is price considering the work behind doing something like that.

Btw leight, I sent a message via the contact form yesterday for a special discount deal with a custom coupon code for your readers, hope you got it :).
Wow, love these!
