Australian designer Alexi Freeman's latest collection is one of those rare gems that you'd be happy to incorporate each and every piece into your own wardrobe. As always, Freeman creates a line of clothing that is timeless - focusing on cuts that are fashion forward but transcend trends.

The mix of iridescent mesh, sheer jersey and luxurious silk is beautiful. And I love that the mostly grey and black toned collection is punctuated with pops of coral. Freeman perfectly constructs garments that are not too fitted, but at the same time, impeccably feminine.

In a time when the weakened economy is increasing the popularity of fast-fashion, I wish people would instead opt to invest in beautiful, well made pieces that stand their own against all the passing fads, yet are subtle enough to move from one season to another.
